Emanuel Alejandro Retana — founder of D-FLiX Videography

Hi, I'm Emanuel Alejandro Retana — your Dallas-based videographer and producer. What started as a hobby cutting videos for friends grew into a passion, and that passion built D-FLiX.

I work with businesses of every size: weddings and once-in-a-lifetime moments, brands ready to expand, and realtors and contractors looking to land more leads. For larger events I operate with a full team; for projects that call for fast, run-and-gun content, I move solo. And I'm always up to travel.

Before You Book

Do you shoot both video and photo?

Yes — D-FLiX covers both. Depending on your project we can deliver a cinematic film, an edited photo gallery, or a package that combines the two, plus vertical cuts sized for social.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Weddings and proposals, commercial and brand films, sports and athlete content, real estate and contractor promos, event coverage, and social media content. If your project doesn't fit one of those boxes, reach out anyway — odds are we've shot something like it.

How far will you travel?

D-FLiX is based in Dallas and shoots across the DFW metroplex, but travel is always on the table — we've taken productions well beyond Texas. Travel details get sorted at your consult.

Do you work solo or with a crew?

Both. Larger events get a full team so no moment is missed; faster-moving projects get the solo run-and-gun treatment. The consult determines what your shoot needs.

How does booking work?

Simple: request a consult through the form below, by phone, or on Instagram. We'll talk through your vision, location, and deliverables, then lock your date. From there, my team and I take care of the rest.

When do I get my content?

Turnaround depends on the scope of your edit, so you'll get a clear delivery timeline at your consult — no guessing, no chasing. Need it fast for a launch or event recap? Say so and we'll plan for it.
